GC Miracle Committees 

 

Fundraising 

Do you think you can come up with creative ways to raise money for the kids? Then the Fundraising team wants you! This committee helps with fundraising events like Spirit Nights, push days, head-to-heads, and in-event fundraising during Dance Marathon. The primary goal is to positively impact GC Miracle’s end-of-the-year total in a huge way.

Special Events 

Help plan 1-2 major events each semester that will help raise awareness and funds. Activities on this committee may include researching other successful fundraising events put on by large philanthropies, ways to improve current fundraising events, and planning logistics for upcoming events.

Public Relations 

Looking for a creative outlet to express yourself? Well, the PR team is for you! We look for committee members who love to come up with creative ways to reach audiences and promote GC Miracle's brand while following their passion for the kids. Committee members will help brainstorm promotional campaign ideas, take photos during events, and help create engaging videos and other advertisement material.

High School Outreach

The High School Outreach committee informs high schools in our district of Miracle and develops relationships with them throughout the year through events like football/basketball games, Spirit Nights, etc. You will work with these high schoolers to help them plan and execute their own Mini Dance Marathon or Spirit Week while teaching them what it means to be FTK!

Family Relations 

The Family Relations committee exists for the purpose of maintaining and expanding the relationship between the families we benefit and GC Miracle as an organization. From updating them on events to investing in the families at Dance Marathon, committee members provide support for the families through communication and participation in their lives.

Hospital Relations 

The Hospital Relations committee is our outlet between GC Miracle and the place that changes lives daily, our incredible Beverly Knight Olson Children's Hospital, Navicent Health! On this committee, you will help orchestrate hospital visits, hospital events, and bring the hospital to Georgia College's campus.

Digital Marketing

Have you always had an eye for what looks good? Did you maybe happen to win "Best Dressed" as your senior high school superlative? Yea, me neither, but that doesn't mean we didn't try. Join the Digital Marketing crew to brainstorm the latest merchandise⁠—t-shirts, buttons, fanny packs, etc.⁠—to spread our cause and raise awareness for our hospital year-round!

Corporate Sponsorships

If you know how to reach and network with businesses who could be potenital GC Miracle sponsors, then look no further than the Corporate Sponsorship team! As a part of this committee, you will play a cruicial role in helping us meet our total fundraising goal by connecting with businesses and fostering relationships with them that will lead to major sponsorship dollars.

 

 

Hospitality

Are you the artsy type that is looking to make Dance Marathon 2020 the most decorated event ever? If you answered yes, then the hospitality committee is perfect for you! On this committee, you will help with decorations, banners, sheet signs, and crafts for the different events throughout the year and day of Dance Marathon.
